A frequent Hindlll RFLP of the human fibrorrertin gene ( FNl )
SOURCE/DESCRIPTION: The probe used is a Hindlll/BamHI fragment of 1.4kb from the fibronectin recombinant, pFH6 (Kornblihtt, A.R. et al.). POLYMORPHISM: Hindlll (A/AGCTT) (New England, Bio-Labs, FRG) detects invariant bands at 4.75 and 1.7kb in addition to a simple two-allele polymorphism defined by the presence of a band of 7.1kb (F2) alternatively with two bands of 3.7 and 3.4kb (Fl) (Figure 1...

SOURCE/DESCRIPTION: pB12, a 650 bp cDNA cloned at the Pst I and Hind III sites of pSP64 (Spindel et. al.). P0LYM0RPHIS: Pvu II detects two allelic fragments at 8.9 kb and 8.3 kb. OTHER COMMENTS: To obtain better separation of bands electrophorese on a 0.8% agarose gel until the xylene cyanol dye is at least 9 cm from the origin. ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS: We thank Ms. Denise Boorman for technical help.
متن کاملA PPY cDNA clone identifies a frequent RFLP.
SOURCE/DESCRIPTION: A pancreatic polypeptide cDNA clone (465 base pair Insert 1n the vector pBR322) was isolated from a library created from human pancreatic neoplasm RNA. This cDNA clone spans a 95 amino acid sequence in the coding region with a 29 amino add amino terminus leader sequence, a three amino acid connecting sequence and a 27 amino add carboxyl terminus (Takeuchi and Yamada, 1985). ...
